In the upcoming October 8 and 9, FPT University shall collaborate with Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia, to host the International Conference on Computational Intelligence 2020 (ICCI 2020) on “Computational Intelligence for Sustainability”.

ICCI 2020’s main organizer is the Department of Computer Sciences and Information, Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia. Here, attenders will have chance to share and explore calculative models and smart math tools, in order to find quick and efficient processing procedures. The conference also encourages researches related to Collective Influence (CI) algorithm, software systems, data analytics, and new applications.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference will be held as a webinar on Microsoft Teams. This will be a chance for teachers and students of FPT Education to gather and exchange knowledge with experienced IT researchers and experts around the world.

This will also be an opportunity to meet and engage with Dr. Dzaharudin Mansor – one with various achievements in Data Sciences, AI, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Architecture, and digital transformation, Advanced Technology, Computing, Economic Restructuring, and Education. In 1985, he had received first-class honors for Computer System Engineering upon graduation from Monash University, Australia, and later on in 1988, completed his doctorate in Computer Sciences. In 2018, Dr. Dzaharudin Mansor was officially delegated as a member of the Malaysia Education Policy Review panel.

The conference will also welcome Dr. Mazlan Abbas – founder and CEO of FAVORIOT Sdn Bhd, a startup for IT services providers in Malaysia.

Before joining FAVORIOT, Dr. Mazlan Abbas had worked as senior managers in various large IT firms of Malaysia, including RED tone IOT, MIMOS Berhad, and CELCOM, as well as taught at famous universities like Universiti Teknologi Petronas (2018-2019), Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UniSZA) (2017-2018), University of Malaysia (UniMY) (2017-2019)… He is also a well-known speaker at many local and international conferences on IoT, IR 4.0, TEDx, Smart City, and so on.
