Professor Mohd Fadzil Hanssan was born in 1976. Graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Colorado State University (CSU), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA), Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom) and Doctor of Informatics at the Center for Intelligent Systems and Applications (CISA), he has worked and devoted many years in Information Technology and Communications in the field of Technology and Engineering. He has participated in and completed many research activities such as: Computer model of virtual reality solar cell (2008-2010), Complete development of smart pipe management system (2017 – 2018), Software development process for small and medium software enterprises (2013 – 2014) …

He has published 2 books entitled Future Handbook of Future Trends and Orientations in Big Date and Web (2015) and Laporan Pelan Halatuju Pengajian Siswazah Malaysia 2017 – 2025 (2018) and many articles, contributions for seminars, and other IT-related publications.

At Research Festival 2019, he will be the speaker of the Summer School class with the theme “Fundamentals of Architecture for Latency Reduction in Healthcare Internet-of-Things“, and will speak at a large hall with the theme “IoT – Current States & Future Trends”. With the huge amount of knowledge accumulated through the process of learning and working, GS Hanssan promises to bring useful lessons for visitors.

Prof. Hsiang-Chen Wang is known as an expert in the field of Quantum Electronic and Laser Technology, Color Lighting Technology and Lighting System, Optoelectronic Semiconductor Materials and Equipment, Technology Science and Biomedical. In 1999, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Ton Trung Son National University. In 2001, he graduated with a Master’s degree in specialty and in 2006, he received his Ph.D. in photonics and optoelectronics, Taiwan National University.

From 2006 until now, he has held many important positions at many organizations such as Research and Development Engineer at AUO, Department of LCD System; Excellent professor at Southern Institute of Industrial Technology, Center for laser technology application; Full-time professor, Mechatronics Institute, Chung Cheng National University; Vice Dean, Head of Technical College, Mechatronics Institute, Chung Cheng National University.

In the process of dedication, he has received many awards from various organizations, typically: 2013 Young Scholar Award of CCU, 2016 Excellent Research Award of CCU University of Technology, 2017 Honorary Award of the International Academy… He also contributed in research works, events, workshops and published works.

This summer, Prof. Hsiang-Chen Wang will attend the Research Festival as a Summer School speaker on the topic “Intelligent identification by hyperspectral imaging” on the morning of August 15 at FPT University Can Tho.

Nguyen Dinh Manh Linh – Representative of FPT Technology Innovation Department

Nguyen Dinh Manh Linh was born in 1994. Despite his young age, Manh Linh has a lot of experience working in the field of Technology. Since 2016, Manh Linh has started MakerHanoi, UMI Academy and co-Founder up to now. He is also an open-source speaker on IoT in the Vietnam Frontier Summit event, and also holds important positions in a number of events such as the Logistic Management of Google DevFes 2016, Event Manager of IoT Day 2016, 2017. Manh Linh also excelled in Robothus Top 5 in 2015.

Currently, the talented Manh Linh is conducting researches for self-driving cars and managing open source for self-driving cars at FPT Group. At Research Festival this year, Manh Linh will become the event speaker with the theme “Self-learning AI and IoT in 4.0 era for young people”. This promises to be a topic that attracts much interest of those who are interested in IoT in the new era.
