On February 14, 2020, Administration of Information Technology collaborates with FPT Corporation in launching a new website to provide information about Coronavirus (Covid-19) at https://ncov.ehealth.gov.vn/.

https://ncov.ehealth.gov.vn is an information channel of the Administration of Information Technology providing the latest information about the Covid-19 outbreak. The website includes executive documents of the Ministry of health, situation reports, number of coronavirus confirmed, recovered, and probable cases, transmission patterns, symptoms,  methods of self-diagnosis, list of healthcare institutions nationwide and infection prevention and control.

It is against the backdrop that misinformation has sparked fear and anxiety among community in the recent emergence of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health has collaborated with FPT in utilizing technology, specifically chatbot, to help citizens access to latest and accurate information and proactively prevent the disease.

FPT.AI Chatbot’s data has been updated and verified by the Administration of Information Technology, along with doctors and medical experts at National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, a frontline healthcare institution in Covid-19 outbreak.

The Chatbot, including more than 1,000 questions and 2,000-3,000 different contexts, can automatically answer questions in real-time. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health, average 5,500 to 5,700 questions have been answered per day, with the precision of 96.4%. By analyzing previous interactions with users, this virtual assistant has the ability to learns and improves itself over time, enhancing user experience.
